Not much has changed the last few weeks, as I've had a bit of knee soreness that I've been trying to let back off, as the Yurrebilla Ultra Marathon (Y56k.com) is this weekend! Got here all of a sudden. And now, it's taper time, so no longer runs really...
Except, it's a strange one, this YUM. I've not really blogged much about any of the Yurrebilla sections I've run, as I was just gonna cover it with regards to the race. But we had a heap more rain, then flooding, this last week, and now it's got a sizable chunk of re-routing due to wash outs and landslides. More like the Yurrebilla-ish Ultra Marathon!
Anyway, it'll still be fun, still a similar distance, still some good climbing. Just different.
And I'll blog the sections as they dry out and re-open I guess, especially as some may need some permanent changing after this. As an idea, this is the start line, right in front of the entrance gate to the trail!

So, instead it's been a re-assessment of how to approach the day (where to walk, where to eat, which aid stations to stop at, which shoes... blah-blah-blah) with these changes and finding stuff to do, as it is also uni break. Usually, that would mean go outside and run or bike or...
But I did just find a really interesting pod cast. I've never done the podcast thing before, but with 'nothing' to do... Anyway, this is about running the Camino de Santiago, an historical pilgrimage trail through Spain and France.
